NourishNY LLC ("NourishNY", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit nourish-ny.com or apply for the NYS 1115 Waiver Nutrition Benefit through us.

When you submit an application, we collect:
- Identity: full name, date of birth
- Contact: email address, phone numbers, mailing address
- Eligibility: Medicaid ID, health categories that may qualify you
- Household: information about household members applying alongside you
- Benefits: WIC and SNAP enrollment status, employment, dietary needs
We also collect limited technical data — IP address, browser type, page visits — to keep the service secure and improve user experience. We use privacy-friendly analytics; we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

- To share necessary application details with our SCN partner who confirms eligibility with NY State Medicaid

We share your information only with:
- Our Social Care Network partner, for eligibility verification and program enrollment
- Approved food vendors contracted by the SCN, for the limited purpose of delivering meals to you
- Service providers (hosting, email, database) under written agreements
- Government agencies if required by law or court order
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Ever.

How we protect your information
How we protect your information
Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest in our database. Access to applicant records is limited to authorized NourishNY staff and our SCN partner. We maintain audit logs of changes to applicant records. We do not store payment information; this program is free and never asks for credit cards.

You have the right to:
- Access and review the information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Withdraw your application and request deletion of your records
- Receive a copy of your application data

Children's privacy
The NourishNY application is intended to be submitted by adults on behalf of themselves or their household, including children. If you are under 18, please apply with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 directly via the website.

We retain application records for as long as needed to provide the program and to comply with applicable laws. After your enrollment ends, records may be retained for an additional period to satisfy regulatory and audit obligations. You may request deletion at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated via email when we have a record on file.
