NourishNY is a New York food access organization. We help Medicaid members apply for the NYS 1115 Waiver Nutrition Benefit through our Social Care Network partner — a free state program that delivers healthy meals and groceries to eligible households.

Our story
We started NourishNY in 2026 to fix a simple problem: New York's 1115 Medicaid Waiver created a powerful new nutrition benefit, but most eligible families had no idea it existed. We saw families one-by-one missing out on meals they were entitled to — through no fault of their own. So we built a way to find them, walk them through the application, and connect them with the program.

How we work
Applicants answer six short questions on this site — name, date of birth, and how to reach them. Our team routes each request to our SCN partner, whose trained screener calls to do the eligibility screening and confirms Medicaid with NY State. Approved members start receiving weekly food deliveries — at no cost. NourishNY handles outreach and delivery coordination so members can focus on their health.

Who we are
NourishNY LLC is a small, family-run New Jersey LLC formed in April 2026. We're partnering with a Social Care Network designated under the NYS Medicaid 1115 Waiver. We're not a hospital, not a Medicaid plan, and not a government agency — we're the people who help you fill out the form, get verified, and start receiving meals.
