§ I. Medicaid membership
Are you a NY Medicaid member?
This benefit is for people already enrolled in New York Medicaid. The application asks for your Medicaid ID.
Who qualifies
You may qualify if you are a New York State Medicaid member and at least one of the following applies to you or someone in your household.

What you receive each week
Each enrolled household receives a weekly delivery of three things — fully prepared meals, fresh produce, and pantry staples — at no cost.

Milk, eggs, cheese, lean proteins, beans, rice, and shelf-stable basics — enough to round out a week.
§ II½. What to know
What to know before you apply.
- Does this replace my current Medicaid benefits?
- No. The Nutrition Benefit is added on top of your existing Medicaid coverage. Your doctor, your plan, and your prescriptions don't change.
- Is there a copay, deductible, or hidden cost?
- No. The benefit is fully covered by your Medicaid plan. You'll never receive a bill from us. The food is free.
- How long does it last?
- Up to six months at a time, with renewal possible if your medical need continues. You can pause or stop the deliveries any time, no questions asked.
